A few people have mentioned that the Sims 3 has some heavy duty hardware requirements, so I looked into it. Here’s what is says on the box:

I checked this out on the Dell Website and have come up with an appropriate machine, it does seem a little expensive though:

I suppose it’s a small price to pay to watch 3D ray traced virtual people piss their (virtual) pants.
